Sunday, May 31, 2026 – Uranium Mine and Mill Tour
The exact times for the mine tour have not been determined, but the day is full. It starts early Sunday morning (around 6am) with Symposium-provided transport to the private Rise Air hangar (this is near to, but is not the Saskatoon International Airport). The tour includes the 1.5 hour flight to the Cigar Lake mine (600km north of Saskatoon) , bus transportation to and from the McClean Lake mill (80km from Cigar Lake), and the returning flight to Saskatoon (around 6pm).
The tour will include all required PPE as well as a site lunch.
Timelines cannot be guaranteed as there may be extended circumstances beyond the control of the air provider (ie. weather). It is recommended return flights to your home city from Saskatoon after the mine tour be booked Monday morning just in case there are delays returning from Northern SK.
