This unique course provides participants with practical applications to meet CNSC and provincial regulatory requirements while dealing with radioactive materials, devices and medical patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our course is designed to meet the current administrative and technical challenges in implementing a radiation safety program to meet CNSC requirements. Course tools allow participants to develop and maintain excellence in radiation safety program at their own facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Content Includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Radiation physics and health effects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administration of radiation safety programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regulations (federal and provincial)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Case Studies \u2013 commercial, medical and research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training and education of staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure and dose control<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radiation monitoring devices and equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radiation dosimetry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inspections and audits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administrative Monetary Penalties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Class discussions and exercises supplement training material. Significant class time is devoted to practical scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Who should participate?
